Turn on the news and you'll find lots of stories about what's wrong with the world.  That's why Just Cause was created; to focus on the upbeat stories of the good things that have happened.  Today I was perusing Boston.com and I saw a headline about a family dog that saved his owners from a fire in Tampa, FL.  The owners were sleeping when their dog Taffy awoke them.  According to boston.com, "Ferrari thought the dog needed to go outside, but when she opened the door, he ran out and right back in. She then discovered there was a fire in the ceiling of her laundry room."

Numerous bloggers had links to this news story such as Your Doggy Dog,  Tampabay.com and All Florida Blog just to name a few.  I think the reason this story is popular is because a potentially tragedy was averted.  Plus the hero is furry, has four legs, and has a cute wet nose.  This story could have had a terrible ending.  Thanks to Taffy, both owners and Taffy were uninjured.
