There’s this great little art glass studio here in Sacramento, owned by Shannon Morgan. An unknown number of artists participate in Girl Glass, work collaboratively on projects, from paperweights to goblets, pumpkins and vessels.

I spent the evening tonight at the Sacramento Bike Kitchen. It's a funky non-profit joint, for the neighborhood, by the neighborhood, and oh yeah, there's an awesome gallery attached, too.

I'm heading to California on Sunday, to Sacramento, to be exact. I'll be there until roughly the first week of June, working for an IT company owned by some friends of mine (what, we've all got to pay the bills, yo.).

I’m blurring the lines here a little to integrate technology into my art space today, in order to give some page space to one thing that’s had me all wrapped up all week: my friends’ baby died.

My current favorite park in Seattle is this little gem, Dragonfly Pavilion. It’s tucked away on a street you’d never go down, unless you go to my gym and take the back roads, or if you happened to live near it.

It's not really news anymore, but it is still a very sharp thorn in my side that nobody is supposed (theoretically, ‘allowed’) to touch any of the art at the Olympic Sculpture Park. Really, don’t touch it, don’t walk on the grass, stay on the path and leave no trace but your Starbucks cup.

folks, I know that seeing the Red Cross returning to their normal operations might make you think that the crisis is over, but rest assured, it is NOT.

There are still several counties assessing their damage levels, and more are being added to the 'official federal disaster' list every day.

Keep up the good work, and don't dream it's over.

Update on dropping stuff off in Chehalis for the Red Cross. The red
cross is closing its emergency shelters and is going back to their
normal relief operations mode so they're requesting cash-only
donations at this time. You can do that through http://www.seattleredcross.org/
