Drugs are more available today than they were 30 years ago and much more danger is involved. Pot is more potent and traces of coke may be added so the dealer can get a customer base. The price has gone way down and a kid or young adult can afford these drugs on a part time job.

Many police inforcement don't have the time to bust young offenders and give them a slap on the wrist.  Parents need to complain, watch your neighborhood and keep complaining for drug dealers to be arrested. We have younger children at risk.

Call tip lines on dealers. This can be done without giving your name. Call from a pay phone if you do not want to be known but do something. I have personally had the police tell me a dealer 18 was harmless I had to go to the station and raise hell before the arrested him with drugs on him. I will continue to do so.
