My daughter is a Herion addict and I can barely write this blog my heart is so broken.  She is 18 and thankfully graduated HS. She was in Rehab 3 times and this didn't work. Instead of Penn State where she was excepted to go this fall, she is in rehab for a 4th time.

 She just went from Weed to Coke and then eventually to Heroin which she learned all about from her court ordered Heroin buddies that she went to NA meetings with. Many never quit using all though to be fair some had/have been clean for sometime.

 Her DR. Finally said why don't we try another route he put her on Suboxon she only needed the smallest dose, then she went down to the next dose and did great, all the while her jealouse NA buddies kept saying she wasn't really clean.

So she decided to stop taking the Suboxon. And she relapsed in11 days.

 I do distrust the process of NA and feel they are out dated. When are the going to realize that God is not the only way, maybe God and science work too.

I don't think God or a higher power, as they say would have created people smart enough and compassionate enough to creat medicines to help addicts if they were not a valuable option.
