This is intended to be a collection of businesses who do more than just meet consumer needs - they work for a Greater Good. Whether it's a clean environment, better public education, increased arts funding, and end to homelessness, support of medical research - these companies are making the world a better place.
We are specifically trying to find FOR PROFIT companies that realize you can do well by doing good. We are done with the era of business in which businesses mess up the world and non-profits fix it. This is one of our core values.
We believe that businesses can be profitable and ethical. That business can be financially successful AND social responsible. We believe that we are all in this together.
Whether its revolutionary products, innovative CSR or a paradigm busting business model, we want to know about it.
Yes, we are building a directory of these businesses. But, in the mean time, I have started this cause because there are some businesses that are just so cool, I couldn't wait until the directory is constructed to talk about them.
Please join me. Join this cause. Blog about a business that blows your mind, and submit it here.
This is where we'll change the world..... We can do well by doing good.
