NCWBE.org was created to educate women and mothers about their choices and avenues for starting a business and financing higher education. The NCWBE's goal is to wlk women throught the processes of starting a business and applying to colleges. Both worlds can be scary when you don't have a clue where to go or what to do, but we aim to remove those fears by explaining the processes involved. Our hope is that more women and stay-at-home moms will pursue education and/or their own businesses, and in turn, create a better life for their families.

The NCWBE is currently accepting donations for need-based and award-based scholarships for the 2008-2009 school year. These schoalrships will go to women and mothers who need assistance and/or have an exceptional skill to nuture. The scholarships will also be used for women who wish to take a workshop or course in a business-related field.

The NCWBE is also accepting talent and skill donations! Anyone who is willing to teach a workshop, write an article, post a blog, share a skill, or offer advice is welcome to contact the NCWBE at info@ncwbe.org.

  • The Struggle for Education

There is a struggle here in Oklahoma for many women and mothers. Coming from a background of services to stay-at-home moms, I've seen too much of this to stay silent. The struggle? Education. Knowledge. Many moms think they have no other choice. They are stuck until their little ones are off to school.
