I am a 55 yr. old father of 4 and grandfather of 8. My views have changed as I grew older, and hopefully, wiser. I don't believe in hurting people, deliberately or otherwise. I have some very strong beliefs that I am not shy about voicing, but I try to do so while respecting the feelings of others. We are adults and should be able to disagree without casting insults. That is not only very rude, it is also very disrespectful. I have friends whom I am very close to, yet I disagree with some of their beliefs. Your beliefs are yours, and my beliefs are mine. I own my own home. Does that mean I should dislike you because you don't own my house? Of course not. You have your own home. It's the same with beliefs. My parents taught me that respect is earned. Respect others and they will respect you. Disrespect others and the chances are very good they will be disrespectful of you. So please, disbelieve all you want, but do it respectfully, not out of hate.
I have grandchildren now, so I am more conscientious of my surroundings, which just happens to be the environment. I want this planet to be around a long time and in great condition for my grandchildren and their grandchildren to enjoy. Of course, that depends a lot on God. And God will base His decision on our actions. I won't preach any more than that.
