I have been involved with social causes all my life. Children are my main focus. I have a BSW in Social Work and a BRSN in Nursing. Pediatrics is my major field. My advanced practice nursing is in the field of Oncology. I am a pediatric chemotherapist.

My main focus is critical care and public health. I will be blogging about children's causes and maternal child health issues - local, national and global.

I have lived in California for 35 years. This makes my other area of concern issues of disaster in California.
