My Bio

My mom brought me up to help others, so I ended up making it my career. My jobs have included educating homeless youth about HIV, researching child care options for working parents, and advocating for improvements to state health care programs for low-income children. I have also worked with the Texas Association of Nonprofit Organizations and Greenlights for Nonprofit Success in Austin to help nonprofit organizations build their capacity to serve their communities. I blog about environmental issues in crafting at Crafting A Green World, and about feminism, racism, and action movies at Heroine Content. My personal blog is Flooded Lizard Kingdom.
